It's the day we recognize women for their achievements without considering divisions, nationalities, ethnicities, political thoughts, economic levels or languages. To get more into the matter, let's see how International Women's Day arises. Spoiler alert: it's a 109-year-old story -which isn't over yet- fighting for gender equality. In 1909, thanks to the declaration of the Socialist Party of America in honor of the garment workers' strike of 1908, where women protested against their working conditions, the first national women's day in the United States is seen.
